Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Dec 21
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-balanced bouquet with brambly red fruit, crushed stone and orange blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine definition, a little riper and more opulent than the ‘19 with a persistent, candied orange peel tinged finish.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
